With Gemma Hayes in the family, music is in teenage music sensation Culleton's bloodline.
Brand new Irish artist Culleton has revealed her debut single in the form of 'Control Freak', a unique marriage of alternative, electro-pop and hip-hop soundscapes.
Culleton's home demos are currently creating significant industry interest, and it's easy to see why. Her unique and distinctive style of vocals and rap allow her to stand out from a large crowd of Irish talent, despite the fact that she's only just turned 16.
Creating tracks at home in Ballyporeen, Co Tipperary on GarageBand, Culleton's massive potential is on display. Perhaps its the creativity in her genes - her Mercury Music Prize nominated aunt Gemma Hayes is surely an influence.
With euphoric melodies, intense background beats that echo The Prodigy and fast-paced, almost spoken word bars; 'Control Freak' is frenetic and fierce. You won't forget that falsetto any time soon, it could give Ellie Rowsell of Wolf Alice a run for her money.
