The Dublin natives have gained wide support since dropping their new single, with Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher taking note.
Indie-rock group Emily 7 is back with their new 60's influenced rock n' roll single 'Somebody'.
Following their appearance on RTÉ One's 'My Tribe,' series earlier this year, Dublin's newest rock outfit are delighted to release a fan favourite from their live sets as a single.
The Tallaght group - comprised of brothers Scott and Kyle Bellew with Daniel Clarke and Brandon Carrig - are quickly gaining momentum on the Irish rock scene with their latest track hitting #1 on the iTunes Singles and Alternative charts.
'Somebody' is a fast-paced indie-rock stomper with some 60s rock 'n' roll-influenced guitar licks, punky drums and a modern twist Motown influenced hook.
The band has seen global support since dropping the track last week - with publications across the US, Canada, the UK and Ireland picking up on the new Dublin talent.
The '90s inspired band have even received support from one of their key influences, Oasis' frontman Liam Gallagher, who tweeted, "Emily 7 just heard your new tune SOMEBODY sounding good keep it up you little skitterhawks LG x".
