The indie songstress has released a dream like video along with 'Breath Away'.
Kildare-based indie rock star Emma Noodles has returned with a music video accompanying her new single 'Breath Away' directed by the artist herself.
'Breath Away' is a dreamy retro 80s synth pop track, with a music video worthy of a John Hughes film.
Speaking on the making of the music video , Noodles says : “ This video was a little chaotic, it went from me not sleeping to go out to film at 5 in the morning and doing a whole skating routine while I’m half asleep, to me nearly getting hit by a car skating down roads singing in a cheetah print leotard, it was eventful ”
The vintage video starts off with the artist in a basketball court in her roller skates, skating and singing reminiscing about a romantic prospect- the ensuing single is a lovelorn flossy number, perhaps a more intelligible and pop music version of the Cocteau Twins.
Noodles skates in changing landscape: from picturesque scenic roads, to suburban basketball courts.
This is followed by dance choreography in a American style bleachers-esque football field, emulating a strange realm of nostalgia in the mind of Irish people- based not quite off personal experience but in the myriad of American films and pop culture references we are privy to.

Continuing on the video, the artist said: “ The song built a world very easy to capture on film, I knew when making the song I immediately wanted to do a roller skating video, so I ordered skates, went out with my little sister every night and practised skating to my song".
The filming of the video, transpired to be a family affair: "The scenes of me skating down roads were so fun to film, me and my friend Jack who filmed the video went out in my Dads car, Jack sat in the Boot while my dad drove, my song was playing full blast as i skated to sing along to it, every time a car would come behind me my my dad would beep and Jack would scream car! and I would have to skate into the ditch on the side of the road. I ended up with some bruises and cuts after the video but it was worth it”
