Eoin Deveraux explores “how powerful the force of love is” on his new track ‘Set My Eyes On You.’

‘Set My Eyes On You’ combines thick synths, a soft acoustic guitar and Devereux’s catchy hook to create a moody, atmospheric track. The 19-year old will share the video for the new single on February 4th.

“This song is about how powerful the force of love is,” Devereux explained. “When we love someone or something, we can tend to glorify everything and put unfair standards on that person, forgetting they are human as well."

“So I think the message of it is just love yourself because if you don't it's very hard for someone else to,” he added.

The Wexford native elaborated on the importance of music to him and how his songs can help people who struggle to express themselves:

“Music is my place, it is where I belong. My intention is for people who have not found their place in the world to be able to express themselves in even some small way through my music.”

Eoin began releasing music in 2021 and shared his debut single ‘Going my own way’ in April. He shared a stripped back version of the track before following it up with ‘Fall And Save,’ ‘Falling Apart’ and 'Jigsaw.’
