Fintan has performed in major venues across the country, including support slots for the likes of The Scratch, Junior Brother, and Roisin O, and looks set to further break out into the Irish music scene.
West Cork singer-songwriter Fintan McKahey has returned with lo-fi/pop track 'Goodbye' following the success of recent single 'Platinum'.
The track incorporates acoustic elements blended with downtempo beats and ambient production, with luscious vocals from fellow Irish artist Ava Archbold rounding out the melancholic tune.
Over the last number of years, Fintan has evolved his musical palette to encompass his signature low, smoky vocals, intricate guitar sound and precise songwriting.
The influence of bedroom pop artists along the likes of Still Woozy shines throughout the singer's work, with a maturity adding to Fintan's sound in the love song.
'Goodbye' embodies an observation of the struggle at the end of a relationship, when both sides are clinging on in hope of salvation.

Written and recorded in McKahey’s home studio in Cork, Fintan is continuing the family legacy as the son of Stump drummer, Rob McKahey and the nephew of Cousteau singer, Liam McKahey.
Having been releasing music since 2016 as both an artist and producer, Fintan released his EP 'God Games' in 2019 to critical acclaim and national radio play.
