Flublah's bedroom-pop single speaks of taking control of our lives again and regaining youth lost to lockdown.
Laois native Flublah has released her debut single in the form of nostalgic youth-addicted anthem 'I'm Still Young'
The singer-songwriter and producer is inspired by the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Lana Del Rey and Clairo, with the rising artist planning to break into Irish radio waves this summer.
A current student studying to receive her BA in Voice in the University of Limerick, the independent artist plans to focus her summer off college on preforming and writing. “I spend a lot of time in my bedroom playing my guitar or piano and humming along to my four chord wonders”.
“Bedroom-pop is the genre my sisters like to refer to my music as, not too sure if it’s for the sound or cool studio in my bedroom.”
Flublah notes how fortunate she is to have had an interest in music from a young age, having taken piano and singing lessons in her home county of Laois and performed on the famous Portlaoise Dunamaise stage for musicals and drama performances.

'I'm Still Young' is about not giving up on the dreams we had before the Covid-19 pandemic hit and setting them free from our imagination into the reality we now live in.
"Gigging has been a huge dream of mine and it was postponed by lockdown. However, with the announcement of festivals and shows to return in late September there is hope that if we can attend these gigs that were postponed the new lockdown artists will be putting on shows of their own very soon," Flublah says of her musical future.
