Listen to the lead single 'Falling' from Graham's latest album, FACTS, with its lo-fi rhythmic beat.
Dublin based rapper Graham reveals his softer side in the gentle tune 'Falling', the lead track of his recently released LP FACTS.
Completed by warm backing vocals from Belfast's own Becky McNeice, the song takes on a melodious smoothness, coming up for air every now and then through lyrical pauses and a brief taste of spoken word. A real chill beat with some modern twists to shake things up.
The lyrics themselves speak of the intricacies of relationships through a retrospective lens. It's conversational, like a discussion of memories between artist and listeners.
The track's softer backing tones contrasts the hardness in Graham's voice, creating a transactional relationship throughout the track between the lightness and the mass, not unlike tunes from Ballymun's powerhouse Bricknasty or even some of Kojaque’s softer stuff (think 'Bubby's Cream' without the sax).
Graham's latest album, FACTS, is a testament to the Irish hip-hop scene's collaborative nature featuring artists such as Becky McNeice, Hugh Hempner and Ellen Lyons.

The rappers previous work includes his debut album Irish Gold, which features tracks like 'Wide Mouth'—his most streamed song on Spotify. Graham frequently works alongside his long-term collaborator Hikii, who produced the latest album.
"This project is one I’m delighted to say feels more like an album, bringing the listeners on a journey over the course of 30 minutes & 11 tracks" said Graham when speaking of the LP on Instagram.
