Harmon Road, an alt-folk trio comprising Marc O’Reilly and his siblings Pierre and Melanie, have released their stunning debut single entitled ‘Narrow Street.’
Before teaming up for the family band, Marc O’Reilly had made a name for himself as a folk-rock act with Virgin Records, garnering significant recognition for his four solo albums and notable appearances at Glastonbury, Electric Picnic, Eurosonic and The Great Escape among others.
With the release of ‘Narrow Street’ comes the beginning of a new era for the Waterford natives, making their mark on the Irish music scene as a sibling ensemble. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Fleetwood Mac, The Staves and Crosby, Stills and Nash, the Irish three piece instils their debut release with the beauty of small town life.
Steeped in evocative storytelling, the new track perfectly underscores the trio's ability to craft luscious narratives complete with poignant lyricism, angelic harmonies and expert accompaniment on guitar and piano. ‘Narrow Street’ is a testament to growth, maturity and kinship expressed through the lens of familial bonds and complemented by Marc's evocative songwriting.
