Continuing with the new stylistic persuasion of their last track 'Younger Days', Hermitage Green's latest song is a tender piece of electro
Taking the band in a different sonic direction from their established indie folk sound, 'All You Can Be' is a new electronic offering from the Limerick band Hermitage Green.
'All You Can Be' is a dose of feel good electro pop- with an optimistic beat orientated intro that wouldn't go astray on a Robyn track. It's a love song- but not in the conventional way people think of love songs, 'All You Can be' is a tender track penned by Darragh Griffin to his daughter.
When asked where the song comes from, “All You Can Be” author and Hermitage Green keyboardist Darragh Griffin said the following; “All You Can Be is a track inspired by my early experiences of becoming a father and the relationship that grows between my daughter, my wife and I".
Continuing he says: "Seemingly mundane daily occurrences were now the best parts of my day and the imagery of these events became the body of the song. I wanted the musical landscape to have an ephemeral dream like feel to reflect the joy of that period of our lives.”
The track is buoyant, and the mix of drums and beats overlap and intertwine beautifully- and sound effortlessly simple. This base is then layered with the band's signature harmonies- one of the few indicator's on the track of the group's indie folk mastery.

Fresh, crisp and clean- 'All You Can Be' is a polished piece of electronic music without any harsh edges or coldness- it's light hearted and loving.
The band are set to play a rake of dates around the country this year. Tickets are available for purchase here.
