The BAFTA-nominated composer and producer returns with a dark collaboration.
It's been nearly four years since BAFTA-nominated composer IN-IS (aka Sheridan Tongue) has released solo music. Thankfully he's back, this time enlisting the help of Dublin-based folk pop singer Ailbhe Reddy for 'Daydream'.
Reddy's ethereal, richly layered vocals shine on the moody, existential dread-filled single. Blending choral elements rather effortlessly with gentle, cinematic instrumentation, Sheridan muses on the dystopia into which our world seems to be inevitably devolving. In a statement, Sheridan notes that 'Daydream' "examines the new ways humanity electronically shares experiences, forms relationships, and –in effect – lives their lives."
