Roisin has also worked in film and TV, utilising her skills in the VFX department for 'Vikings'.
Irish-Palestinian singer Roisin El Cherif has released her brand new single 'Cross Your Mind', a catchy indie-pop ballad fused with the singer's dark vocals.
Enthralling harmonies and deeply personal lyrics feature in 'Cross My Mind', setting her apart from her peers.
The track was recorded in Jordan during Galway-based Roisin's travels in the Middle East, after she dropped her debut single 'Kerosene' in 2016.
Roisin has graced stages around Ireland since emerging onto the scene four years ago, including festival performances at Electric Picnic, Body & Soul and Sea Sessions.
Her 'Glass House' EP dropped in 2018, and blended ambient pop with Roisin's haunting voice with a striking effect that cemented her rising status.
With a strong background in film production, Roisin has built a distinctive visual style to go with her ethereal sound, drawing on mythology and magic.

Sombre lyrics encapsulating Roisin’s records reveal how honest and raw her song-writing process is, using overlapping genres of folk, country and rock and the influence of Tracy Chapman, Stevie Nicks and Daughter.
“Sometimes the most hurtful place is your mind. I think, like many people, I suffer from overthinking. ‘Cross Your Mind’ is about acknowledging that black cloud and welcoming it," Roisin said of the record.
"The mind wanders and we wander with it”.
