A new singer from Northern Ireland, Jack Devlin, has just released his debut single today.

The tune and Hot Press' Track of the Day is 'Lies', a neat indie track to start off your afternoon.

After gaining some social media buzz and landing support slots with David Keenan and Hermitage Green, Devlin's ready to start releasing more of his tunes. He has apparently recorded over "100 songs in various states of readiness".

Originally from Hilltown near the Mourne Mountains, Devlin also had an earlier life as a mountain biker, which in 2018 led him to become the Ulster Elite Enduro Champion.

"The song is always the foundation of where I judge my success", he says on his music in a press release.
