Kiruu's latest album, Super Feo Express, has been a long time in the works. It was hugely delayed, resulting in a 3 year gestation period that almost completely burned out the Irish singer – emotionally and financially.

A happy thing then, that the album is such a triumph. Sonically rich, it is the culmination of nearly fifteen years of exploring music from the farthest reaches of the world. 'Tibet' is only the tip of the iceberg for this album, which spans nearly every genre from trip hop to traditional. The multi-linguist, who was raised in East Africa and spent extensive time on the coast of Spain, also writes part of the album in Swahili, French, and Spanish.
