Manamon is the alias of Dublin singer-songwriter Sean McManamon. His enigmatic, eagerly-awaited debut single 'In a Frame' is officially released today - and it's sure to make a mark on the Irish music scene.
Producer and singer-songwriter Sean McManamon seeks to curate a unique sound on his exhilarating debut single 'In a Frame', freely experimenting with a multi-dimension of genres and expert production.
Manamon's musical influences are rich in scope, ranging from Elliott Smith to Grimes, and Bonobo to Soccer Mommy. Despite not releasing any music up until today, Manamon has already made a name for himself in the Irish music industry playing his first solo shows opening for Damien Dempsey and Danny O'Reilly, as well as playing as a session musician for the likes of AE MAK, Kynsy, Megan O' Neill, Blushing Boy, among others.
"'In a Frame' is a song about confiding in someone, giving help to those who have your back and acknowledging that dark or heavy thoughts seem some much lighter when we have a medium to channel them through, like a friend, or a piece of art," Sean says of the track.
"It's just just a celebration of unleashing something that's been stuck inside you for so long."
The introspective lyrics focus on the unique language of trust and building a connection with someone who wants the best for you, with the guitar-driven track building towards a catchy pace.
