Greg Tisdall previously teamed up with Max Zanga on 2020 single 'CELLPHONE'.
Dublin producer Greg Tisdall has teamed up with Tebi Rex and Filmore! artist Max Zanga on a new alt-pop single.
Produced alongside Daniel O'Brien (Thrust Collective, The Love Hour), the sleek single sees Tisdall pair his swirling R&B beats with Max Zanga's laidback, relaxed flow.
With a penchant for saxophone and playful synths that's reminiscent of Kean Kavanagh's 2020 Dog Person tape, the duo put a unique spin on the iridescent single.
"I miss you a bunch, I miss you a lot, I miss you a tonne / A weight on my chest / A crush on my lungs..." Zanga declares before stating: "It's like a fishbowl where we were captive but it's nice to be captive together, you know?" Mingling his spoken word style with dexterous lyrics that remain reference-filled and tongue-in-cheek, Max's easygoing flair matches with Greg Tisdall's warm production perfectly.
"This song came about initially in a cafe near me called ALMA," Tisdall posted on Instagram, referencing the popular Portobello spot. "I’m at that age now post-college where a lot of people end up leaving Dublin. Including a lot of people very close to my heart. We wanted to make something that addresses that sadness, frustration, jealousy and inevitability.

"Whatever about my repeated hooks, I wanna thank @max_zanga for contributing an amazing verse that examines the closer details in a very funny light."
Keep your eyes peeled for more Greg Tisdall news this week. The talent first emerged back in 2018 with his Bad Theatre EP.
