Dublin singer-songwriter Megan Burke has built up an impressive following online – clocking up hundreds of thousands of views for her stunning covers and originals. She released her stunning debut single, 'Where Did You Find Love', in September 2020 and has been hard at work penning new tracks since then.

Appearing on the Hot Press Lockdown Sessions' Y&E Series last year allowed Burke's audience to widen even further, showcasing her incredible vocal prowess and ability to put her heart and soul into both covers and original tracks.

On 'Where Did You Find Love', the vocalist tried to recreate that old American big band soul sound. 'Tired' shows another side to the artist, oozing with sensual soul and heartbreak.

Speaking to a former lover, Burke describes how she knew it was the right time to walk away from a relationship throughout the nostalgic-sounding song. A smooth piano/organ melody as background instrumental allows for a more relaxed atmosphere, letting Megan's voice do the work.

Eerily reminiscent of Joss Stone and early 2000s jazz/soul numbers, 'Tired' is sure to prove Burke's talent even further.
