Playing at Whelan’s Ones To Watch festival last weekend, Michael Gumbo and Diarmaid O’Murchu have been making rapid waves in the Irish Hip Hop scene.

‘TiCKER’ sees Gumbo’s provocatively deep tonal range match up to Aesop Rock and fellow Irish rapper Rejjie Snow - sounding particularly like Snow in his older work ‘Lost in Empathy’. O’Murchu comes at it from a more melodic angle, and the pair bounce off eachother in shameless yet clever lyricism. NEOMADiC will be playing at The Bernard Shaw this coming Friday at 8:00pm.
