‘Alright’ is the first single from Hannon's upcoming EP 'Like It Is', which was recorded at home during lockdown. There's lots more good things on the way from the hugely talented Monaghan artist...
Monaghan born, Dublin-based artist Rachel Mae Hannon has released her brand new single 'Alright'; produced, mixed and mastered by the talented Cian Sweeney (1000 Beasts).
The first track from Hannon's upcoming EP 'Like It Is' sees the soulful vocalist and multi-instrumentalist focusing on our individual experiences of recovery, moving on, and our ability to rediscover ourselves.
With jazz-infused backing instrumentals and Rachel's honey-toned vocals, 'Alright' reels the listener in with its warmth – and its gorgeous harmonies. Hannon recently showed off her incredible potential during the Hot Press Y&E Series Y&E Series, delivering an eclectic mix of covers and originals.
Exploring music at the intersection of where pop meets rhythm and neo-soul, Hannon shared her impressive debut single 'Be in Love' back in July 2020, which has over 256,000 streams currently.
'Alright' is the eagerly-awaited follow up, with Rachel hard at it, during the Covid pandemic, writing her own original songs.
