Listen to the latest propulsive headbanger from Dublin scuzz rockers Really Good Time below.
Really Good Time have unveiled a postcard offering their warmest seasons greetings as the summer draws to a menacing close.
If you're not one for cards, the Dublin scuzz rockers have also unleashed a blistering new single to boot. Hot on the heels of their Beware, The Wish EP in March, 'Pension Fund' is a pummelling offering of bluesy hard rock.
With red-hot riffage and tongue-in-cheek lyrics, 'Pension Fund' is a high-octane song that snarls with biting honesty and an unbridled rhythm section. It's Black Keys at breakneck speed, toeing the line between raucous and melodic, contemplative and anthemic, deftly capturing the ecstatic release found in a sweaty crowd moving together amidst a wall of amplification and crashing propulsiveness. 'Pension Fund' sounds like a throwback to the highs of noughties heavy blues rock, while "U2 in their Vertigo era covering Viagra Boys" is the band's chosen motto.

With this release, the band cement further cement themselves in a world of art-rock bravado, giving them the pretense to cement themselves, an emerging act, as the self-professed great band on earth. But, you wouldn't want to bet against them, certainly not with this ferocious single.
