Channelling the captivating voices of Freya Ridings, Gabrielle Alpin and Maisie Peters, the song's impressively bare elements don't need any electronic production or distractions from Robben B's voice.
The 21-year-old singer-songwriter from Dublin is a full-time student, but has a passion for writing beautifully simplistic tracks that grasp the listener.
Robben began writing songs at the age of 14, but lockdown has finally given the artist the space and peace to work on her craft, utilising her tracks as a way to deal with the chaotic world around her.
'More Than The Sea' is a pared back rendition that places Robben's clear vocals on show to perfection.
With sprinklings of piano chords in the background, the musician's lyrics are honest and accessible for the audience to consume, introducing harmonies later in the track for emphasis.
"For me, 'More Than The Sea' is about many things but mostly, it’s about loving someone more than I love the sea, which is a lot," says Robben.
"A deep and beautiful kind of love. I’ve always had such a strong connection to the Irish Sea especially and feel it’s always been apart of my heart so I kind of tried to express that!"

Robben was delighted to work with a female producer, Heather Casserly, on the track and hopes to explore more written songs with her in the future.
The singer-songwriter is planning to put another single out in the new year and hopefully an EP, so the only way is up for the young Dubliner.
