'When You’re Gone' is the band’s third single off their upcoming debut EP due for release this spring.
A punk trio from Drogheda, Rowdy Outsider could very well be Ireland’s answer to blink-182 with their high energy pop punk offerings.
‘When You're Gone’ is no different, complete with high energy guitar playing, and anthemic vocals. A Valentine's day release- ‘When You’re Gone’ is truly the single for angsty lovelorn singles. It’s the kind of track you wish you heard as a teen or when you were going through that brutal college situationship. At least now, it’s in your backpocket for the next time you are down bad.
Made up of vocalist Matthew Doyle, Drummer Sean Murtagh and Bassist/Guitarist Conor Whearty, Rowdy Outsider fuse the rock sounds of the nineties and noughties with contemporary ideas, topics and productions giving all the former emo teens a proper emotional outlets now that have grown up.
The new track, 'When You’re Gone' is the band’s third single off their upcoming debut EP due for release this spring. An accompanying music video has also been shared by the Louth group.
Speaking on the track the group said: "When You’re Gone is about love and loneliness. The lyrics are about longing for isolation but at the expense of those we love the most. We want When You’re Gone to be an honest and vulnerable apology message."
