Check out the nostalgic, analogue video to ‘My Face’ below.
Mayo singer-songwriter Seán Joyce follows his captivating debut single ‘While You Were Out’ with a passionate sophomore release. ‘My Face’ centres on an emotional piano instrumental which delicately frames the singer’s falsetto vocals.
Mastered by Cormac Butler (The Academic, Sorcha Richardson), this offering of indie-pop treacle showcases impressive production for a newcomer that recalls the soundscapes of Lewis Capaldi or Dermot Kennedy.
As such, Joyce has quickly emerged throughout the Irish music scene, evolving his craft in collaboration with some of the leading figures in the Irish music scene, including Butler and James Vincent McMorrow.
