Leap cards at the ready: rising west coast stars Shark School deliver a catchy, sharp-tongued denouncement of the notorious 411 bus route with their debut single.
Galway garage rockers Shark School burst onto the scene with ‘411’.
Featuring a gnarly vintage bassline and witty, sarcastic delivery reminiscent of Dry Cleaning, the track is a driving diss aimed at the eponymous bus in the band's hometown.
The rollicking number is sure to resonate with fellow Galwegians who’ve fallen victim to the city’s tardy and sometimes non-existent public transport network.

“This song will take you on the (bus) ride of your life, from job applications to dislocated shoulders,” said Shark School.
“This old school punk tune will have all the girls singing along and could even be your baby's first words!”
Nora Staunton (guitar, vocals), Peggy Ford (bass) and Ronan O’Connor Mahony (drums) formed the group in June 2023, quickly building a name for themselves with their engaging and energetic live slots, playing alongside a variety of renowned Irish acts including NewDad, The Love Buzz and Elaine Malone.
The band are currently touring across Ireland and the UK, with headline shows planned for Dublin, London and their native Galway in the coming weeks. For full information on dates and tickets click here.
