Ethereal, emotive track 'Cavalry' is about coming to terms with the limits of human mortality.
Boston-born modern classical artist Lōwli has released her latest single 'Cavalry', a commanding and powerful song about human vulnerabilities.
Lōwli’s lyrics centre on the feelings of powerlessness that accompany a loss, the challenges of waking up to a new and unwanted normal - which mirrors the stoic atmosphere created by the current pandemic.
The neoclassical elements at play in her recent instrumental track, 'Worlds Above Us', interact with the wistfulness of Lowli’s unique voice to curate dark pop with a classical feel.
The singer (real name Roisin Lowry) has a talent for curating a narrative within her music that links the broader challenges of the world with intimate battles she faces as her own person.
Based in Dublin but formerly a Galway Girl, the singer has spent lockdown discovering more of her songwriting and composing talents, honing her craft.

Inclusions on the Sounds From a Safe Harbour, Other Voices and Sofar Sounds lineups, and nods from several prominent Ones to Watch listings have allowed Lōwli to break into Ireland's music scene.
