It's been an exciting couple of weeks for Dublin group Somebody's Child, who released their debut EP '20-Something' on August 7 to widespread acclaim.
With over a million streams under his belt, the young Dubliner is only garnering more attention for his talents.
After kicking off the year with the release of their acclaimed single, 'Love That Sound', the Dubliners played an early contender for gig of the year at The Grand Social.
The four-track EP showcases an exciting and developed artistry from the a, with 'Y.M.A.W.B.I.L' acting as a stand-out track on the work.
The song (short for 'You Might As Well Be In Love') captures the energy and DIY aesthetic of the entire EP, infusing rock and indie with alt-pop to create an anthem that isn't easily forgotten.

Somebody's Child shared their second single 'We Could Start a War’ just before the release of the group's debut EP.
The first, ‘Hold Me Like You Wanna,’ came out in June and appeared on New Music Friday and The Indie List, two taste-making Spotify playlists.
Band leader Cian Godfrey described the recently released EP:
“20-Something is the first real taste of who I want to be as an artist and as a songwriter. It’s inspired by music I actually listen to on a regular basis.
“Everything before this has just been to test the waters, but for the first time since this started it feels like this is what I’m really about,” he said.
