The singer-songwriter began her musical career three years ago.
Dublin-based artist Lizzy Byrne has released her brand new single, 'I Don't Care' - the first track from her debut EP 'In Disguise'.
Byrne's music career kicked off when the singer released her debut single 'Back to the '90s' in 2017.
After years of performing spoken word poetry across stages, the musician gravitated towards her love of songwriting.
She later played in venues across Ireland on her nationwide tour '27' in September 2019, performing in locations such as The Ruby Sessions and Sofar Sounds.
In 2020, Lizzy made it to the quarter final of the AER Solo Artist Award.
"I'll never forget my roots, I didn't come from a music background so spoken word seemed the only route for me at one point, I enjoyed it and it served me well when it came to performing, it taught me a lot about rhythm too," Byrne says about her EP, 'In Disguise'.

"But it's not featured heavily in the songs, these songs are from the teenager in me; full of angst and too much time".
Her EP is a snapshot of a time in her life where she found she could finally be honest with herself.
