Spoon Speaker Man have unveiled their latest single ‘The Age Of No Opinion’, the moody title track from their upcoming album later this year.
Spoon Speaker Man’s new track ‘The Age Of No Opinion’ is a thought provoking, hard-hitting rock tune exploring the effects of modern media on our surroundings.
Spoon Speaker Man are comprised of Power of Dreams and Archive frontman, Craig Walker, and Dan Worton, one fifth of Ned’s Atomic Dustbin, who have joined forces to record their debut album.
Perfectly accompanied by powerful and compelling guitar hooks, a pulsating bass line and pounding drums, the track’s nostalgic instrumentation is an acute acknowledgement of both Walker's and Worton’s music careers.
“The song was inspired by these really strange times we are currently experiencing,” Walker told Hot Press. “It feels like we have painted ourselves into a corner as a species these past few years. Politically and socially polarised and with very little understanding or room for debate.

“Social media which has in the past been a very important tool for change has become a place that cultivates division and hatred within our society. It has come a long way from people posting cute pictures of cats.”
