'Once Upon a Time in Palestine' is the latest release off of The Swedish Railway Orchestra's upcoming album Once Upon a Time
Dublin electronic project The Swedish Railway Orchestra have today released a new single titled 'Once Upon a Time in Palestine' complete with a visualiser.
The track takes influence from LCD Soundsystem but plays with a much darker theme than the usual woes of James Murphy's affluent New Yorkers.
"Once Upon a Time in Palestine is' written, performed and produced by Rob Smith of The Swedish Railway Orchestra and mastered by Daniel O'Connell at O'Connell Mastering in Barcelona, Spain. It's a beat orientated dance track but has a slight existential edge to it, not normally found in the genre.
The accompanying visualiser adds the appropriate aesthetics to this feeling of alienation- with a bug-eye shot of Ashton Quay and Workman's on given night inter spliced with archival footage of Palestine.
The single is the latest off the group's upcoming album Once Upon A Time..., which is billed for release on Thursday March 7. The Galway based Blowtorch records will be issuing Once Upon a Time... on "12 violet vinyl record with gatefold sleeve. This limited edition vinyl is available for pre-order here.
