Trainspotting sequel soundtrack may just be revealed
Find out the 15 old and new tracks that could be set to feature the T2 album. The Prodigy, Underwolrd, Young Fathers, Blondie, The Rubberbandits and others appear.
It seems like the track listing to the upcoming Trainspotting sequel might have leaked online. Early this week, Amazon UK hosted a pre-order page for the LP which has since been removed. A few days ahead of its release, looks like Danny Boyle’s Trainspotting sequel soundtrack will be a retro blow from the past.
Memorable tracks from the original have been given a reworking. Iggy Pop’s 1996 ‘Lust for Life’ that opened the first movie has been remixed by The Prodigy. ‘Born Slippy’ by Underworld has been re-titled ‘Slow Slippy’ for its 2017 form. Another new track from Underworld features too along Wolf Alice's ‘Silk’ which was in the first official trailer for the film.
The soundtrack also includes songs from Blondie, Queen, Young Fathers, The Rubberbandits and others.
Trainspotting 2 will hit cinemas on January 27.
