Transit
Transit has more than its fair share of dance floor slaying moments.
So many techno artists are content to put out a one-dimensional looped dance floor double pack, but Justin Berkovi doesn’t fall into this predictable category.
While Transit has more than its fair share of dance floor slaying moments – witness the frenetic slap-bass rhythms and dark, brooding chords of ‘Caress’, ‘Curves’ and ‘Inertia’ and the intense ‘Neck It’, he never strays into the pointlessly banging route often favoured by his peers. Indeed, the album also has its fair share of slinky, moody grooves as well as enough spacey, atmospheric electro workouts to make for one hell of a trip.
