The hip hop duo are once again vying for the top spot in the Official Irish Charts, announced this Friday.
After the release of their sophomore project Doghouse earlier this week, Travis and Elzzz are counting down to Friday’s Official Irish Albums Chart announcements, hoping to secure a coveted spot in the top ten.
The new album comes after the duo’s 2023 debut mixtape Full Circle rocketed to the top of the charts, debuting in Ireland at No. 2. Now, back again with a new collection of bangers, the Dubliners are vying for another meteoric debut.
Produced by Liam Harris, Doghouse is a whirlwind of energy, passion and talent spurred by Travis and Elzzz’s expansive dreams and relentless pursuit of success. From the very first beat drop, listeners are enveloped in a sonic journey infused with the unique experiences of two gifted Black Irish artists.
Travis reflected on the album's creation, saying, "I wanted to put a lot of feeling into this one. There's been a lot of ups and downs, but through it all, I realised how much I love making music. Each song on Doghouse is a part of me, a part of my journey. I want to inspire kids to do something outside the box, and with this album, I feel like it's being done. Doghouse isn't just a project—it's an energy that will be felt long after we're done here."
Imbued with the heart and soul of Travis and Elzzz partnership, Doghouse is not only a testament to their journey as musicians but also to their evolution as individuals and members of the Dublin hip hop community.
"Making music with Travis and Liam isn’t just a collaboration—it's a bond between brothers,” Elzzz said. “Doghouse came about from a slang we used to describe tough times that shape you into a stronger version of yourself. This project embodies that mentality, taking listeners on a journey through our personal lives, love, and work. It marks the beginning of a new era for us and for the whole culture here in Ireland."

Last Friday’s Official Irish Albums Chart was dominated by Ariana Grande comeback project Eternal Sunshine, followed by Noah Kahan’s Stick Season, which continues to hold its tenure at the top of the charts. In third was the Weeknd’s The Highlights followed by Fleetwood Mac’s 50 Years - Don't Stop and Olivia Rodgrido’s Guts.
Tonight is the last night to push the Dublin duo across the finish line. Listeners have until midnight to help Travis & Elzzz score a strong debut on the Irish Albums Chart.
