Dozens of artists have used their music to express outrage throughout Trump's campaign and into his presidency, but now the US President has a pro-Trump tune he wants everyone to hear.
A Texan choir performed the song at the "Celebrate Freedom" concert in Washington D.C. on July 1, where Trump appeared to speak. The event was to honour US veterans.
"Lift the torch of freedom all across the land/ Step into the future/ join hand-in-hand," the tune belts some cliche patriotic sentiments. The song uses Trump's well-known campaign slogan "Make America Great Again" as a refrain nine times. It was composed by Gary Moore, a former minister of the First Baptist Church in Dallas.
Moore told The New York Times some verses had been left out of the choir's performance. He added that the use of "Make America Great Again" was also meant as a nod to freedom of speech and religion in the US.
Trump Tweeted a clip of the choir performing the song to celebrate Independence Day. He shared the tune again this weekend over a slideshow of photos of himself at the G20 Summit in Germany. The tweet has been shared 24 thousand times, and met with praise from adoring supporters.

Although the song doesn't make any explicit political statements, critics have called the jingle nothing less than propaganda. Some wondered why the President's July 4 didn't use the country's national anthem instead. It is the only pro-Trump song to be endorsed by the President.
