The projects features some of the most exciting names in Irish urban music, including Evans Junior (pictured), BoyW1DR, KEDO, Ojo The Kidd and more.
Ringing in a bright new decade in Irish music, Trust It Entertainment have released OBVIOUSLY: The Mixtape – featuring some of the most exciting heavy-hitters in the country's emerging urban music scene.
The project also marks another new chapter, on the back of a rebrand following a split with formers partners Dearfach Records.
Founded by Trust It Entertainment CEO Prod Solo (Solomon Adesiyan) in 2015, Dearfach Records emerged as one of Ireland’s biggest urban platforms – renowned for championing an Irish drill sound, as seen on the popular Noisey (VICE) documentary ‘Irish Drill Won’t Be Stopped’.
With Trust it Entertainment, Prod Solo has been busy building up a new roster of talent, with a new sound and new image, and has merged with independent UK label Moves Recordings – home to Afro B, Naira Marley, Rai-Elle, IQ, Skengdo x AM, Finesse Foreva and The Sound of UK Afrobeats.
Marking the start of this new journey, OBVIOUSLY: The Mixtape showcases a selection of the most hotly tipped emerging acts in the urban scene. The project, released on January 3, was announced at The Grand Social last month, at a concert featuring Trust It's top talent.

OBVIOUSLY is by led singles 'Patience', 'Wasted', 'Spaceman' and 'Tanlines', which all gained major streaming traction on release – with BoyW1DR's 'Spaceman' scoring a place on Spotify’s Who We Be playlist.
In a statement, Prod Solo, who also serves as executive producer of the mixtape, noted that “the main focus of the tape is to differentiate and establish every artist’s sound and brand.” As such, the mixtape is dazzlingly eclectic – blending RnB, pop, hip-hop, trap, soul and Afroswing.
