The Dublin roots act headline alongside Paul Brady and De Dannan.
Folk fans around the country will be heading for Donegal later this month, as the Ballyshannon Folk & Traditional Music Festival kicks off on July 31 for four days of the finest roots music around.
Headlining the famous event this time around is revered songwriter Paul Brady, the legendary Spiddal band De Dannan with Eleanor Shanley and – flying the flag for the younger generation – Dublin's Tupelo.
Tupelo, who released a single with Sharon Shannon last month, can be seen in the Abbey Arts Centre from 8pm on Friday August 1.
De Dannan will be there on Saturday August 2, while Brady will play the same venue on the Sunday.
Add in plenty of other acts, street gigs, showcases and workshops and you have the makings of a great August Bank Holiday weekend. For tickets and the full line-up, go to [link]ballyshannonfolkfestival.com[/link]
