TV Girl announce show at 3Arena this summer
The critically acclaimed band will be playing in Dublin on Thursday August 15.
American indie pop band TV Girl have announced a new date in Dublin as part of their current global tour. Amongst shows in the US, the UK and Europe, they will grace the 3Arena stage on August 15, a year after playing Waterford's All Together Now festival.
Formed in 2010, TV Girl is composed of band members Brad Petering, Jason Wyman and Wyatt Harmon, and met incredible success in 2014 with the release of their first full-length album French Exit, now considered a point of reference in the indie pop scene. They are known for their heavy use of electronic sampling, vintage-inspired melodies and catchy pop hooks.
Their following album, Who Really Cares, came out in 2016 and took heavy inspiration from ‘90s Hip Hop and modern psychedelic pop, while their latest record, 2023’s Grapes Upon the Vine reads like an exploration of gospel music and its themes, such as love, faith and death.
Despite a growing online fame these past few years, TV Girl stay true to their independant roots, as they are still producing their music without a label today.
Tickets for their 3Arena show retail from €49.90 and will be available from April 11. For more ticket information, click here.
