ROOUE are twin sisters Ro and Lou, born in London and living in Dublin, Ireland since their pre-teens.
Twin musical duo ROOUE are kicking 2021 off with a blast of pop perfection - sharing their irresistibly catchy new single 'Flavour'.
'Flavour' is about being bored of normal monotonous life and the same bland relationships, capturing the moment when you decide to get more from life: a taste of new flavours.
The track captures more of a disco dance feel compared to their debut, ‘What You Want’, providing a more old-school '00s vibe.
“This song resonates with us from being in quarantine craving a sense of excitement and an escape from confinement,” ROOUE.
Singing with one another since they could walk, ROOUE excel in their connection with music and each other with the use of signature blended harmonies and diverse counter melodies.

With inspirations deriving from the likes of artistic talent NAO, BANKS, Lennon Stella and Christina Aguilera; the pair are demonstrating the beginning of an exciting career.
'Flavour' is also produced by Irish songwriter, mixer, producer and musician Richey McCourt - who has worked with the likes of UK talent Pixie Lott, Will Young, Rebecca Ferguson and Rita Ora. With such a heavily UK focused client list, he began to look closer to home for emerging and developing talent.
“I was back and forth to London and Stockholm a lot, and almost always within a songwriter role. But my skillset in production was improving and I really wanted to be the guy in the chair creating that soundscape in addition to writing.
"I was excited about what was emerging at a local level so decided to put some time and resource into exploring the Irish scene," Richey adds. "Artists such as Lyra were beginning to make some noise, Jafaris had come on the scene. I had such hope for what was next for the Irish music scene and wanted in!”
Richey set up a fully equipped home studio and began writing and producing with a number of homegrown musical acts, resulting in a number of releases, including ‘Again’ with electro-pop artist LAOISE. The song went on to gain a Choice Music Prize Song of the Year nomination and has amassed over three million streams.
He has also co-written and produced material for Ireland’s latest pop breakthrough artist Aimée.
Richey’s latest release ‘Bulletproof’, which he co-wrote with Universal Music recording artist Aimée, was the highest entry on the Official Irish Homegrown Charts the week of its release.
