Another great NI band added the line-up.
Indie band Two Door Cinema Club have been the latest act to be added to the line-up joining Snow Patrol at Ward Park, Bangor on 25 May 2019.
Snow Patrol's frontman Gary Lightbody said in a release, "We are beyond excited to announce that one of Northern Ireland's biggest ever international acts Two Door Cinema Club will be joining us at Ward Park 3 in Bangor, NI on 25th May. They complete a dream bill of Foy Vance, ASH, SOAK, Jealous Of The Birds, Brand New Friend, JC Stewart, The Wood Burning Savages, Kitt Philippa, and ROE.”

Snow Patrol are without doubt the biggest band that Northern Ireland has ever produced. Over the last 25 years Snow Patrol have released 7 albums and racked up an impressive number of critical and commercial accolades, including: 16 million global album sales, 1 billion global track streams, 5 UK Platinum Albums, and are Grammy and Mercury Music Prize nominated.
Now the band will showcase a the talents of Northern Ireland with supporting acts all hailing from the area. This one-day event will see Snow Patrol supported by a host of Northern Irish bands: Foy Vance, Ash, SOAK, Jealous of the Birds, Brand New Friend and now including: Two Door Cinema Club.

There will also be a second stage curated by Snow Patrol and Gary Lightbody’s NI artist development company, Third Bar, with up and coming artists including JC Stewart, The Wood Burning Savages, Kitt Philippa and ROE showcasing the future of the NI music scene.
Stephen Reid, Ards and North Down Borough Council Chief Executive says: “The Council could not be more delighted to support MCD Productions to bring Snow Patrol back home to Ward Park for this concert. The two previous gigs in 2007 and 2010 were fantastic events for everyone who attended and gave a significant boost to residents and businesses in the town. We look forward to working with all those involved to make this a truly fantastic and memorable concert.”
