U2 add 4 new dates to their Sphere run due to high demand

Following continuous critical acclaim for ‘U2: UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere,’ the band announced yesterday that a final 4 dates will be added to their Las Vegas run, bringing the globally-acclaimed residency to a grand total of 40 dates.

The crowd has been loud, and U2 heard: in response to overwhelming acclaim for the band’s Las Vegas Residency at the new Sphere venue, ‘U2: UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere,’ will tack on 4 final dates, bringing the residency to an end on Saturday, March 2.

Announced yesterday, fans now have the chance to catch the globally-acclaimed U2 extravaganza on February 23, February 24, March 1 and March 2, 2024, at the Sphere, Las Vegas. The final 4 dates will bring the dazzling residency to a grand total of 40 shows.

‘U2: UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere’ is a first-of-its-kind live music experience which continues to make headlines around the globe as it ushers in a new era of live entertainment with the world’s biggest rock band, U2, in the world’s newest, cutting-edge venue, Sphere.

Opening up the venue for the first time as their residency kicked off in September of this year, it’s only fitting that U2 – a band which has consistently pushed the boundaries of live performance since their start – break in the Sphere stage.

For the added shows, Bono, The Edge and Adam Clayton will once again be joined onstage by Bram van den Berg, sitting in on drums for Larry Mullen Jr. as he continues to heal from major surgery. The final four dates cement ‘U2:UV’s’ position as the hottest ticket in town through early March next year.

In addition to securing the top spot at Triple A radio, U2’s latest track ‘Atomic City’ also topped Billboard’s Alternative Digital Song Sales Chart and Billboard’s Adult Alternative Airplay Chart. U2 leads the latter for most No. 1’s in the chart’s history, with 14 total rulers.

‘U2: UV’ opened on September 29, 2023 to rave reviews, with fans and critics alike praising the show and calling it the greatest live show around at the moment.
