Could this be hinting at a possible new album or track?
Some fans of U2 were treated with some very strange mail today.
Fans of the band were treated to a letter which contains two silhouetted figures that reveal a message that reads: “Blackout…it’s clear who you are…will appear U2.com.” The last sentence of the letter is blacked out, with “U2 will announce...on...” .
Totally weird and random piece of mail today. Must be from the @u2 fan club. Very cool that they did this! pic.twitter.com/UCnchdwWBP

It seems possible that the band are gearing up to release a new single, presumably called 'Blackout', with an album announcement to follow.
