The band are rumoured to be adding a total of 12 more dates.
U2 are reportedly set to extend their residency at the new Sphere venue in Las Vegas.
The rock legends recently became the first artists to perform at the brand new venue in Nevada.
The show – U2:UV Achtung Baby Live At Sphere – began on September 29 and was scheduled to run until December 16. However, according to reports the band will be extending their time in Vegas.
The New York Post claimed that the band are set to add a total of 12 more dates to the list while organisers continue to get another act to replace the headline spot at the $2.3 billion venue.

Although the news is not confirmed, it wouldn't come as a surprise if they took on more dates. The band are reported to be guaranteed $4 million (£3.28m) per show from LiveNation (via Stereogum).
Speculation has arisen on who might take the rocker's place at the Sphere. The Eagles were rumoured to have been "locked in" for the headline spot by MSG boss James Dolan but this must still be in the air considering the elongated residency for U2.
