A selection of special releases from U2, Leonard Cohen, Lana Del Rey, Sam Cooke, The Jim Carroll Band, Billie Eilish and more will be available as part of the event.
Record Store Day have shared their list of titles set to be released as part of their upcoming Black Friday event on November 26 – including a special vinyl release celebrating the 40th anniversary of U2's 'Gloria'.
The classic track was originally released as a single on October 5, 1981, as the second single to be taken from U2's second studio album, October.
The 40th anniversary limited edition 12" EP for Black Friday includes the studio version of 'Gloria', as well as three live versions from three different decades.
The '90s are represented by a show at the Point Depot, Dublin (track A2). Although ticketed as December 31 1989, the show started at midnight on January 1 1990 and was broadcast across Europe at the time.
Side B features two previously unreleased live recordings of 'Gloria' – recorded at the Fleet Center in Boston during the Vertigo tour in 2005, and at London’s O2 Arena during the third night of their run of shows as part of the iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Tour in 2015.
