Emma, who is partner of famed 'Love Actually' director Richard Curtis made the comment when speaking about how she likes "as much physical contact as possible” with her young children, Jake, Scarlett, 22, Charlie, 15 and Spike, 13.
"No, you carry on kissing and you carry on cuddling and you carry on snuggling and holding their hands as you walk down the street.”
But Emma, who is also a writer and filmmaker herself, admitted that her kids don't like such public displays of affection.
"They will shrug you off a lot, but at any moment they don’t you sneak the hand straight back in and cuddle.”
