The sound of the ground beneath the barrel being scraped? Jimmy Page offers more New Old.
Despite the fact that the complete Led Zeppelin catalogue was subject to a "definitive" overhaul only a few years ago, guitar wizard Jimmy Page has announced that more unheard material is set for release next year as part of the band's 50th anniversary celebrations.
Page, speaking in a interview with the American Academy Of Achievement, revealed "There'll be product coming out that people haven't heard, because I'm working on that. Next year will be the 50th year, so there's all manner of surprises coming."
There are no further details at this point, although fans will perhaps get officially released version of the likes of 'Swan Song', the instrumental track that Page would rework into 'Midnight Moonlight' for his time in The Firm with Free's Paul Rodgers.

In other Zep news, fans are promised an official illustrated book created by the surviving band members in collaboration with Reel Art Press. The no doubt wallet troubling tome is also due next year.
