No change at the summit as the Bruno Mars collab. still reigns supreme
Even the attention surrounding Ed Sheeran’s Whelan’s show last weekend was not enough to see him leapfrog Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars at the top of the Irish singles charts; ‘Thinking Out Loud’ remains in second spot as 'Uptown Funk!', the biggest song of 2015, holds onto the top slot.
Olly Murs and Hozier switch places at No. 3 and No. 4 – ‘Up’ leading ‘Take Me To Church’ – and Meghan Trainor looks to have another smash on her hands, as ‘Lips Are Moving’ continues to climb, slotting in at No. 5.
Elsewhere in the top ten, Sia, Calvin Harris and Alesso continue their residencies, while Avicii and Philip George climb a handful of spots to sneak into the upper reaches of the countdown.
