Van Morrison Moondance Street Art Appears in Skibbereen
The art, which pays tribute to Van the Man and the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, appeared in Skibbereen last month.
It's been nearly 50 years since Van Morrison released his signature jazz-pop hit 'Moondance' - and 50 years exactly since the first moon landing! - and it's clear that both these cultural phenomenons have left a lasting legacy.
The work of street art (pictured above), pays tribute to Van's song from the album of the same name, as well as the moon landing.
The street art went last month as part of Skibbereen Arts Festival's moon landing street party.
It was created by Splattervan, a youth collective from the area.
