The Dubliners' momentum continues to gather steam.
It's been an enormous 2018 for Eskimo Supreme and Casper Walsh of Dublin rap duo Versatile, and it looks like 2019 will follow suit with the announcement today that the pair will play Live at The Marquee Cork on Friday the 21st of June.
With the assistance of Evan Kennedy's production, Versatile have carved out a niche with their distinctively Dublin brand of tongue-in-cheek hip-hop. Having uploaded their first song to the OUTBURST YouTube channel when they were just 16, they had been steadily gaining popularity until vaulting themselves into the public consciousness with the release of 'Ketamine', with the music video currently sitting on over two million views since its upload in April.
This rise to prominence has also coincided with the pair beginning to first perform live shows only last year, where they sold out their tour of Ireland in support of their The Dublin City Gs mixtape, their most complete body of work to date.
They followed that up with a host of show-stealing performances this year on the festival circuit, most notably at Electric Picnic where they were widely regarded as having one of the best sets of the entire weekend. Their latest headline show in Dublin at The Olympia sold out in under an hour and ahead of their first UK tour this February they have already sold out both their Glasgow and London shows.

Live at The Marquee, Cork will be the next opportunity to see Versatile play live in Ireland. Tickets for the show will go on sale at 9am this Friday, November 23rd, from Ticketmaster and outlets nationwide and are priced at €30 inclusive of booking fees.
