The band jokingly suggested that they could adopt Fontaines D.C's wardrobe in a video announcing the tour
Viagra Boys have announced a show at Dublin's 3Olympia on May 2 as part of their 2025 tour across the US, UK and Europe.
The Swedish post-punk band, known for their sense of humour, announced the tour in a video posted to social media with some joking suggestions on how they could promote the upcoming string of gigs, including playing "the world's biggest [Las Vegas' Sphere show" and copying Fontaines D.C.'s fashion choices: “I think we’re gonna have to dye our hair and get better sunglasses. Either smaller or larger sunglasses”.

Viagra Boys last played the 3Olympia in January 2023, in support of their most recent record Cave World. The band's frontman Sebastian Murphy told NME at Reading Festival in August that a new record is in the works and set to arrive "maybe next year". Other full-length releases include 2021's Welfare Jazz and their 2018 debut Street Worms.
General sale for Viagra Boys' show in Dublin's 3Olympia begins on Thursday, December 12, at 10am via ticketmaster.ie.
