UK reviews for Soon It Will Come Time To Face The World Outside - the debut album from Cork's Boa Morte - range from excellent to, er, even more excellent. See what the quiet riot's all about at an upcoming live date near you
Boa Morte have been garnering rave reviews across the water in Blighty, including glowing comparisons to Smog, Will Oldham, Nick Drake and Low. Not too shabby!
The Cork quartet’s debut album, Soon It Will Come Time To Face The World Outside, was released in July, support for which saw the band embark upon a nine date UK tour with Shoeshine Records labelmates The Beauty Shop and Major Matt Mason USA.

Following an (extremely quiet) stormer of a gig in The Lobby in Cork last weekend, Boa Morte reopen their account in the big smoke with a date in The Ballroom of Romance at The Lower Deck, Portobello, Dublin this Friday, December 13. Then it's back down to the People's Republic to open for David Kitt in the Everyman Palace Theatre (Sat Dec 22nd) - and January sees them supporting Shoeshine label moguls Teenage Fanclub on their Irish tour.
