One of Ireland's emerging hip-hop artists has released a genre-bending EP.
Tallaght rapper VJ Jaxson has dropped his much-anticipated debut EP, Finding Myself, today.
Fresh from releasing his single and music video for 'Red Pill' back in May, the artist promises to take "the listener on a journey through tales of faith, self-belief, loneliness and anxiety."
The majority of the work on the six-track EP was inspired by the time VJ took a brief hiatus from the music industry due to mental health issues. He then found solace in his faith which helped him "rediscover his drive and self-belief as an artist".

VJ Jackson was also the final act to play Hot Press' Y&E series back in May. The former BIMM student played 'Red Pill' from Finding Myself and his 2020 single 'Losing My Mind'.
Accompanied by just an acoustic guitar, he delivered a stunning performance, showcasing many of the songs from the EP released today.
