Indie-rock quartet Inhaler are officially in the running to become the MTV Push UK & Ireland act for 2021.

Last year's winner Yungblud had an epic 2020; recently taking home an award and performing at the 2020 MTV EMA after being introduced by rock legend Dave Grohl.

"Like the rest of the world my year has been pretty crazy, but one thing is for sure, since being named MTV Push’s 2020 winner – I’ve had some unreal career changing experiences. I can’t wait to see who is nominated this year and is set to take my crown," Yungblud said of this year's fresh crop of talent.

Inhaler are making themselves heard over the last year, releasing a slew of powerful rock singles including 'Falling In', 'When It Breaks', 'My Honest Face' and 'We Need To Move On'.

Having bonded over a love of the likes of The Stone Roses, The Strokes, Depeche Mode and more - Robert, Elijah, Ryan and Josh have already supported Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Courteeners and DMAs and have seen sell-out audiences at their own headline shows.

“We are over the moon to be nominated for MTV PUSH UK & IRE 2021," the outfit said of the honour. "MTV’s been a big part of our lives where we’ve discovered some of our favourite artists so to be nominated for this is very surreal.”

The group are up against Arlo Parks, Bree Runway, rapper Pa Salieu, Alfie Templeman, Griff, Nathan Dawe, 220 Kid, Swedish singer AWA and R&B songstress Claudia Valentina for the title.

The likes of Lewis Capaldi, Mabel, James Bay, Anne-Marie, AJ Tracey, Krept & Konan, The Vamps and Sam Smith have previously been championed by MTV Push.
